About the role
The Senior Technical Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing team projects, optimizing workflows, and providing support to the Digital Product team. This role leads cross-functional project management efforts, driving accountability, structure, and on-time delivery of high-priority initiatives. The Senior Technical Project Manager partners closely with engineering leadership to optimize workflows across six teams, implementing tools and practices that enhance clarity and collaboration.
This role also oversees operational rhythms, logistical support, and project tracking to ensure alignment, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the Digital Product Team. This role is responsible for leading project management initiatives that support the direction, and efforts of their team to outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.

What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end project management for complex technical and non-technical initiatives across all six Digital Product teams, from requirements gathering through QA coordination and launch.
- Partner with engineering and product leadership to ensure on-time delivery while managing dependencies, risks, and cross-team alignment.
- Design and implement repeatable project management frameworks, templates, and operational cadences tailored to each team's needs.
- Build measurement systems and dashboards that track progress, surface insights, and enable data-driven continuous improvement.
- Assess current workflows across teams to identify optimization opportunities and lead implementation of improvements.
- Drive adoption of new tools, processes, and practices through documentation, training, and change management.
- Support leadership with strategic planning, meeting preparation, and representation in key forums.
- Facilitate team planning sessions, retrospectives, and workshops that foster collaboration and alignment.
- Work with leadership to establish measurable objectives for initiatives and focus periods.
- Maintain accountability through clear communication of schedules, milestones, and expectations while removing obstacles to team success.
Skills Needed to Succeed

- Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
- Effective at project management, including process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
- Strong collaboration skills and understanding of developing and guiding others.
- Ability to build and maintain trust across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and digital platforms.
- Ability to assess, design, and implement workflow improvements.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5 –10 years of related experience in project management, operations or process improvement, preferably within a digital or technology focused environment.
