At Mitek, the Future of Work is about flexibility and preference wherever and whenever we are working.<br/>As a member of Mitek’s Software Development team, you will be working on products and solutions that will help to transform mobile banking and the identity authentication markets. Your mission will be to evolve and improve software for our products and services, working closely with the rest of the team in different initiatives and other areas of the business. <h3>What You Will Do </h3> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain our first-line identity check solution and other existing Mitek products.</li><li>Provide advanced solutions for new requirements and improve current ones.</li><li>Create internal software documentation and user documentation. </li><li>Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and researchers.</li><li>Follow Agile/Scrum processes like daily stand-ups, refinements, planning, and retrospectives.</li><li>Participate in second-level on-call support for our SaaS-based solutions.</li><br/></ul> <h3>What You Need (Skills/Experience/Abilities)</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.         </li><li>Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including but not limited to S3, SQS, ECS, and EC2.         </li><li>2 years of relevant programming experience.         </li><li>Experience with cloud provisioning with infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).          </li><li>Proficiency with Git.         </li><li>Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests.         </li><li>Experience writing clean, maintainable, and production-hardened code.         </li><li>Proficiency in spoken and written English.</li><li>Ability to participate in an on-call rotation (once every three weeks).</li><br/></ul> <h3>What Would Be Nice (for a perfect match)</h3> <ul> <li>1 year of programming experience in Go.         </li><li>JavaScript front-end SPA frameworks (React).·         </li><li>Redux and Non-Relational Databases (e.g., MongoDB, DocumentDB, RavenDB).·         </li><li>Npm or similar package manager.        </li><li>Cypress or similar front-end functional testing tools.         </li><li>Experience developing solutions for deployment within Docker containers, CI/CD procedures (Jenkins).        </li><li>Experience implementing distributed systems.         </li><li>Experience implementing serverless technology or micro-services architecture.         </li><li>Bash scripting, .Net C#, Groovy, Python, and C++ programming languages.          </li><li>Experience using Agile methodologies and practices.</li><br/></ul> <h3>Who you are</h3> <ul> <li>Data-driven and innovative mindset.
