Job Description
AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Raleigh on February 25-26, 2026. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2026.
The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.
On Thursday, interviews will take place at our Raleigh office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.
AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Power Platform Developer to support power platform development working in Raleigh, Atlanta, or Conshohocken.
This position will report to the M365 digital solutions manager, and the successful candidate will receive guidance, mentoring and training. Our work is interdisciplinary, so a wide variety of majors are acceptable. This position supports clients by providing power platform implementation, configuration, development, guidance, and support for a wide range of projects related to environment, transportation, water and the built environment. A successful candidate will have a passion to work with industry leading digital platforms and technology systems. The candidate should also demonstrate strong technical skills and a desire to learn and adopt new technologies to meet project and client requirements. The position also requires work in both self-directed and team-based collaboration scenarios where critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Create reports, dashboards, databases, and tools in low-code environments like PowerApps.
- Configure, extend, and modify software used for environmental and safety purposes.
- Work with clients to understand clients’ needs and requirements as well as work with other specialists to present options for how to accomplish them.
- Suggest new or innovative solutions for project requirements.
- Initiate contact with mentors and coworkers to work through problems and questions.
- Engage with coworkers and internal clients to build understanding of the business.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Environmental Science or Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related degree
- Coursework or internships involving procedure automation, such as with Azure PowerApps or a similar product
- Experience with using, modifying, and writing code (e.g. C#, M, SQL, XML)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship at an energy, engineering, manufacturing, or software company
