Schedule: Full Time - Rotating - with every other weekend commitment

Department: Food & Nutrition Patients

Reports to: Supervisor Food and Nutrition Services

Position Purpose:

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an experienced Food Service Associate to join our Food and Nutrition team! 

What You Will Do:

• The main duties of our Dietary Aides are to complete daily responsibilities that may include meal assembly, cold food preparation, utility and dish room functions.

• Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures.

• Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times.

• Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations.

• Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning.

• Assisting with educational programs on nutrition.

• Talking to patients on the phone and receiving their meal order

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)

• Barista or food service experience
