How you will contribute:
The Controls Sales Manager is responsible for managing and leading the Controls Sales Team for an assigned region or project. This person is also responsible for seeking new business development and leads efforts to support customers and secure new business. This includes project budgeting, responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and guiding the project through the early design phase prior to project management. The manager also has selling responsibilities to key accounts and will support construction operations by creating fee and rate proposals that maximize profit while remaining competitive. The Controls Sales Manager will be tasked with maintaining proper staffing levels and building a team environment within and across designated areas, assigning key accounts, providing a consistent level of coaching and establishing clear performance expectations for the team. In addition, they must monitor the achievements of sales goals along with developing and mentoring the sales team.
What you need to qualify:
Well-qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business and a minimum of 5 years' of sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous management experience is preferred, as is a valid Driver's License.
