PURPOSE
This position will be embedded within the Interventional Team and will follow the capability cluster reporting structure aligned with the U.S. Commercial Organization.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As Marketing Director for CV Launch, you will serve as a key commercial lead in driving tactical and strategic marketing execution to support the successful U.S. launch of Bayer’s next-generation fluid delivery system in the interventional radiology and cardiology markets.
Operational & Tactical Responsibilities
- Lead tactical marketing efforts, including campaign planning, product imagery development, key messaging, and launch readiness activities;
- Support internal communications to drive alignment across global commercial, R&D, and regional teams;
- Manage market research and competitive intelligence to uncover insights that inform strategy and decision-making;
- Contribute to business case development and financial forecasting to support investment decisions and scenario planning;
- Evaluate and manage positioning and pricing strategies for Bayer’s U.S. interventional portfolio;
- Co-develop above-brand marketing campaigns that connect customers to launch messaging;
- Implement a structured process to gather and act on voice-of-customer and sales team insights, enabling continuous refinement of messaging, campaigns, and support materials
- Support the post-market evidence strategy by identifying relevant marketing endpoints and collaborating with clinical and medical teams to translate data into impactful value messaging and promotional tools;
Clinical Experience & Market Understanding
- Demonstrated knowledge of the interventional space (IR and/or IC) with direct experience in marketing to these specialties;
- Background working in interventional device companies, hospitals, or clinical settings preferred; clinical/nursing/tech experience a plus but not required;
- Strong understanding of vascular procedure workflows and the ability to develop marketing campaigns tailored to both purchasing decision-makers and clinical influencers;
Strategic Marketing Responsibilities
- Contribute to defining and refining launch brand value proposition and long-term market positioning;
- Collaborate on pricing strategies, offering development, and value proposition refinement;
- Apply knowledge of health economics and reimbursement models to commercial strategy and messaging;
- Identify, cultivate, and engage with KOLs to shape research partnerships, guidelines, and participation in society events such as TCT;
- Help shape and execute the go-to-market plan, including sales enablement and stakeholder engagement;
This role can be based in either Whippany, NJ or Indianola, PA. Candidates must be easily commutable to the Whippany, NJ or Indianola, PA site as relocation assistance will not be offered for this role.
