Overview

Pavilion 5 is a 30-bed med-surg unit with a focus on oncology patients. Our unit provides compassionate, cutting-edge care for patients battling cancer.

 

We are proud to be among the select facilities offering Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes (TIL) therapy, a revolutionary form of immunotherapy and in our ongoing commitment to providing state-of-the-art treatments, we are preparing to introduce stem cell transplant capabilities.

 

With a focus on both innovative treatment approaches and holistic patient care, Pavilion 5 is at the forefront of cancer care. The floor is staffed by a team of oncologists, nurses, and support staff who are committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients and we are proud to be the winners of the 2024 Nurse Excellence Team Award

Short Description

  • Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care.
  • Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s).
  • Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.

Experience Required

1 year or more patient care experience in a similar role.

Education Requirements

  • Completed at least one fundamental nursing course in an accredited RN Program
  • Successful completion of an unlicensed health care provider/ technician program
  • High school diploma/GED

License/Certification Requirements

AHA Basic Life Support certification.

Special Requirements

Must successfully complete EKG and Phlebotomy training during orientation.
