Your role:
Join a collaborative, startup-like medical robotics R&D team, tasked with inventing and launching next-generation medical solutions for Philips' Image Guided Therapies business.
Design, develop, deploy, and release software applications in an FDA-regulated environment.
Build, deploy, and maintain production software for ML and data pipelines.
Contribute to the system and software architecture.
Provide technical support to the users of the platform.
Be part of a team in state-of-the-art R&D labs located at the Philips Innovation Campus in Cambridge, MA.
You're the right fit if:
You have 5+ years of professional experience in software development with exceptional software skills (proficiency in C++ and Python are required). Prior experience should include PyTorch, Containerization (Docker), computer networks, DevOps (e.g., CI/CD), API design, parallel programming & CUDA, and object-oriented design.
You have earned a Bachelor’s Degree, 3+ years with a Master’s degree, or 1+ years with a PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You have experience with MLOps and AI/ML workflows and prior experience in computer vision, deep learning (e.g., CNNs, Transformers), and robotics. You have hands-on experience with TensorFlow, MONAI, OpenCV, OpenGL, VTK/ITK, QT, Boost, Numpy, Scikit-Image, Robot Operating System (ROS), and cloud platforms such as AWS.
You are familiar with AI deployment and inference technologies like TensorRT and ONNX Runtime.
You have knowledge in medical imaging technologies, with a preference for experience in image-guided therapy or surgery and have worked in a regulated software environment, specifically in medical devices.
How we work together:
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details:
The pay range for this position in MA is $126,000 to $201,000
