We have BIG dreams and are looking for a team player and leader to drive this critical function.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Primary client contact and liaison; communicate effectively with clients and develop positive relationships with client personnel</li> <li>Top review of returns, workpapers and issues </li> <li>Handle communication from clients and tax authorities. Advise clients on tax strategies.</li> <li>Provide future tax planning to clients.</li> <li>Interpret wills and trust documents</li> <li>Analyze tax data submitted by the client to maximize the outcome for the client.</li> <li>Research new tax trends and regulations.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with government tax rules.</li> <li>Supervise, train and mentor tax staff; Support the growth and development of team members</li> <li>Manage multiple assignments inside an engagement.</li> <li>Communicates with Partner on work status and client issues that arise</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in tax or accounting</li> <li>Minimum of 10 years of tax consulting/compliance experience in public accounting</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role involving clients and team members</li> <li>Advanced understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations</li> <li>Strong research and analytical skills</li> <li>Ability to fully manage client relationships on behalf of the firm</li> <li>Ability to work independently, but also work well with others</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of applicable accounting software, CCH Axcess & Engagement preferred</li> </ul> <p>Working at LMC provi
