THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Operations Risk - Risk Management - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Determine business areas that pose potential risks to the enterprise.
  • Evaluate the impact of proposed risks to the enterprise.
  • Monitor and report on information and processes to reduce risk using rigorous analysis.
  • Document and report on resolutions and control guidelines.
  • Assist team in creating regular risk reporting by compiling and analyzing monthly operational risk data.
  • Provide expert advice on, and guide team in, assessing and identifying potential risks that may threaten our reputation, safety, security, and/or financial success.
  • Participate with key stakeholders across the enterprise and guide team in understanding business objectives.
  • Manage and govern Delegations of Authority for areas of responsibility.
  • Support risk governance activities including but not limited to issues management, loss event management, monitoring of metrics / key indicators, and evaluation of policies, standards, and procedures.

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 2 years


Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Having knowledge of programming language/SQL and ability to read code is a plus.

Skills

  • Demonstrated experience with LEAN process improvement and ability to identify and recommend improvements to processes and control environments to drive efficiency.
  • Advanced communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Solid time management, critical thinking, and the ability to understand and follow risk management reporting procedures.  
  • Skilled in Data Analytics; demonstrated ability to use tools and technology for data discovery and problem-solving, to efficiently identify and analyze variances / trending for business insights, and automate processes.
  • Strong work ethic, excellent use of discretion and judgment and the ability to work under pressure and multi-task on various assignments.
  • Skilled in creating visual concepts, creating content, and editing content by hand or with the help with computer software to communicate ideas.
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion.
  • Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
  • Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions.
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives.
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal.
  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.


Tools

  • Experience using Risk Works.
  • Experience using SharePoint.
  • Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled in Visio.
  • Skilled in Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.
