This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Contract Execution Representative supports a full scale of customer service activities regarding contract execution & order fulfilment in the cereal market. The Contract Execution responsibilities start with the receipt of the medium-term planning, followed by contract scheduling, nomination and the execution part. The team also handles after care such as complaint management, customer performance metrics, inputs on customer account plans.
This position is limited for a 15 month period of time.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain systems and strategic relationships that meet customer demand forecast, as well as other databases related to shipments and inventory management
- Apply a comprehensive understanding of supply chain practices and procedures to gather and verify medium-short term S&OP demand/capacity outlook based on various input sources (e.g. sales orders, forecast, contract position, inventory available, and direct input from sales/demand teams)
- Check contract balances regularly and decide (with commercial team) on closure or overrun to reduce or enhance risk positions
- Follow-up on inbound quantities, confirm the quantity & quality to the supplier, issue calculations, correct the invoices flow to the payment process
- Reflect in SAP all aspects regarding contract execution
- Understand and take appropriate actions on change management initiatives
- Be a key member on improvement projects and commitments requiring a comprehensive understanding of customer service/execution practices and procedures
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Use thorough knowledge of complex customer service practices and procedures to independently validate and execute customer service strategies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of two years experience in Supply Chain/Customer Services or relevant customer facing role and contract execution experience
- Demonstration of high level product and process knowledge
- Curious, flexible mindset, comfortable with digitalization &automation, virtual/real communication
- Good English knowledge – oral and written
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a process driven environment
- Food/feed/agri-environment experience/knowledge
- SAP knowledge
- Problem solving skills and strong team player
