Software Developer - Enterprise Systems R&D (Independent Contractor)

Job title: Software Developer

Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join its Enterprise Systems R&D department as a Software Developer. This candidate will work with our Enterprise Systems R&D team to implement a new ERP system to run Wolfram Research's internal business systems.

Responsibilities

• Implementing functions in Wolfram Language
• Designing entity types
• Writing tests
• Demonstrating the efficacy of solutions
• Reviewing code changes of other team members

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Post-secondary education in computer science/software development or significant professional experience

Preferred qualifications

• Experience and proficiency with Wolfram Language
• Experience working in a business-related department of a company

Location: Fully remote and seeking candidates from Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Turkey and Morocco
Job type: Full time (40 hours per week)/Independent Contractor
Salary: Dependent on location, candidate’s background and experience
Reporting to: Manager of Enterprise Systems R&D
