Position Summary


The Associate, Corporate Development will work closely with the Manager, Corporate Development to help drive growth opportunities for Arrow. This is an exciting opportunity to help analyze, assess and execute high profile corporate growth priorities related to all aspects of corporate M&A and strategy. The candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time on the evaluation and execution of acquisitions and 20% on strategic growth projects. A successful candidate must possess demonstrated financial acumen, business analytics, strategic thinking, problem solving and executive communications skills as they will be exposed to executive leadership, the company Board and private equity deal team.


Primary Roles and Responsibilities


  • Support a variety of business strategy and development projects through qualitative and quantitative business analysis
  • Support corporate development projects including review of potential acquisitions and development of business cases for strategic decisions
  • Supporting organic growth initiatives for new market and product launches including forecasting, pricing, return on investment and other key investment criteria
  • In collaboration with Arrow leadership, develop and maintain corporate strategic plan and related reporting materials 
  • Identify, monitor and track M&A pipeline and stages of discussions with various acquisition targets
  • Screen and evaluate new acquisition opportunities
  • Perform detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis under direction and support of Manager, Corporate Development
  • Coordinates due diligence efforts with cross functional leaders and advisors both internally and externally
  • Assist with development of investment memos and board materials supporting material acquisitive and organic investments
  • Assist with transaction post-merger integration planning and execution
  • Provides support and guidance as required to other corporate business transactions as they arise
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  

Experience and Education

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in corporate development, investment banking, corporate banking, accounting or transaction advisory services
  • Ability to build complex valuation models including public comps, DCF and LBO
  • Foundational understanding of valuation, corporate finance and accounting concepts
  • Work accurately and efficiently within Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business management or a related field
