The Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) is a central data onboarding and provisioning platform powered by Snowflake that enables data producers and consumers to share and access data offerings via Aladdin Data Cloud (ADC), Aladdin Studio, and graph services into core Aladdin. EDP and Studio are two key platforms central to Aladdin Data's growth strategy for the next 5 years.
Responsibilities and requirements include:
Deep expertise in the front and middle office of the asset management domain (buy-side)
Expertise in the data management space – data acquisition, ingestion, transformation, distribution, consumption and data governance
Manage large, complex projects/programs (50-100 people) to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost and quality
Coordinate the development of product definition and roadmaps in partnership w the Product Mgmt team. Requires intimacy with business objectives and Studio technology evolution
Develop and execute plan for the "commons" across EDP and Studio (i.e. shared technology components & infrastructure), including whatever integration is needed
Manage Studio squads (following agile methodology and evolving the practice as needed)
Manage the program increment lifecycle and associated ceremonies
Produce regular updates for SLT and other stakeholders
Structure and manage integrated projects and programs to achieve expected business results
Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria
Manage relationships with senior leadership team and communicate status and issues regularly
Mobilize and manage a team to execute against project plans
Lead Business and Technical Design phases
Lead teams with multiple discipline representation (especially technology, user experience, and product)
Familiarity with Agile and Iterative Development

You will apply your knowledge to some of the firm’s most strategic, complex and high-valued projects. You will have the opportunity to drive scale, ensure consistency and reduce risk across the firm. This is not your traditional project management role; we are looking for world-class problem solvers who want to learn the details and be heavily involved in designing and implementing scalable solutions. We act as the “connective tissue” between the various lines of business by applying in-depth knowledge of BlackRock’s organization, processes and technology in order to execute change.
Your Experience
10+ years of work experience
Ability to clearly articulate objectives and influence outcomes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in business process analysis, design, and implementation
Ambitious and proactive – able to show initiative and come up with ideas without prompting
Technical aptitude, understanding technology in a business context
Experience working with global, distributed teams across multiple cultures and time zones
Sense of curiosity and the courage to ask tough questions
Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or Engineering preferred)
Ability to drive the adoption of Scaled Agile practices across global teams. Should be proficient and certified in agile at scale methodologies such as SaFE, LeSS, Nexus etc.
