Earn a competitive hourly rate between $16.00 and $19.20 based on years of experience.

Full-time, (5) day per week work schedule, between Monday-Sunday.

Position Summary: The Team Leader is responsible for assisting the Dining Room Manager with the coordination, seating, appearance and maintenance of the dining area and server stations and ensuring that courteous and efficient services are delivered. The Team Leader assists the Dining Room Manager with on-the-job training of new and current staff in addition to delegating work assignments daily. This position reports to the Dining Room Manager.

  1. In the absence of the Dining Room Manager, supervises the physical appearance of the dining room area and server stations including table pedestals, table place settings, chairs, floors, drapes, and lighting.
  2. Schedules stations and work assignments for the wait staff and check out servers to make sure standards are met to include side-work, pre, and post shift work.
  3. Responsible for on-the-job training for dining room staff including workplace safety procedures.
  4. Confers with Dining Room Manager regarding dining room status.
  5. Maintains a professional atmosphere among wait staff in the dining room and is responsible for motivating team to reach daily goals as set by the Dining Room Manager.
  6. Records meal counts, reservations, and additional charges. Complete knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) system.
  7. Coordinates the seating of the residents and guests in an efficient, courteous manner.

 

Education and/or Experience: 

  1. High School graduate or equivalent.
  2. A minimum of two years Lead Server/Trainer experience within fine restaurant, club, hotel, or similar institution.
