The Senior Product Manager is responsible for driving the product design, managing product requirements, evaluating risk and collecting feedback on the usability and function of the product.  The Senior Product Manager will possess a blend of technical savvy with a keen business perspective to balance the needs of many stakeholders while developing new products and improving existing features. The Senior Product Manager will thrive on solving problems by characterizing end users, identifying use cases, and evaluating workflows resulting in clearly defined product requirements.

This position will play a vital role in understanding our customer’s medical system workflows and determining the best approach to integrate them with the HeartFlow cloud-based solution. #LI-IB1; #LI-Remote

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers to understand their workflows and build a vision for how the HeartFlow system can best integrate into their Electronic Medicare Record (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication (PACS) systems
  • Develop a solid technical understanding of all aspects of the HeartFlow product workflow to generate requirements and facilitate communication between teams
  • Evaluate and develop business models for new products and extensions to the HeartFlow product line
  • Drive design of features by defining workflows, use cases, and wire frame designs in conjunction with Product Designers
  • Work closely with our Customer Success teams to provide the tools needed to streamline customer installation and use
  • Write high quality functional requirements and coordinate design reviews for cross-functional review
  • Evaluate user feedback to prioritize customer requests and provide traceability to product requirements
  • Work with developers through the implementation of features and make necessary tradeoffs to complete projects on time
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on prototypes or builds
  • Champion regulatory standards and manage constraints
  • Manage prioritization of defects by understanding their impact to the product and our customers
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to Commercial, Engineering and Production teams

Skills Needed:

  • Demonstrated success in building enterprise medical or health web and mobile applications
  • Direct experience developing products using HL7 along with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and PACS systems
  • Strong understanding of medical security standards and practices to enable a secure cloud-cloud connected system on a global scale
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong technical aptitude in cloud services
  • Highly productive with exceptional organizational capacity
  • Ability to translate technical designs to written requirements
  • Demonstrated passion for problem solving
  • Highly responsive and ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Proven leadership skills

Educational Requirements & Work Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 3-7 years demonstrated success as a product manager building enterprise web and mobile applications in a regulated medical environment

The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience and training; skill sets; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $100,000 to $152,500 (for all locations outside San Francisco Bay Area) and $130,000 to $180,250 (for San Francisco Bay Area).
