You will assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education, patient intervention and promote effective working relationships.

This Clinical Nurse II of Radiology in involved in collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan for pre/intra/post-operative areas for our ambulatory interventional radiology procedures and assist with other radiology modalities as required. Additionally, the position includes providing patient and family education, participating in research projects and quality initiatives to ensure safe continuity of care. This position also includes on call responsibilities.

 Salary range: $62.43 - $92.81 Hourly

Job Qualifications

• BSN or MSN – required  
• Current valid California RN license – required
• At least 3 years of recent Acute Adult Care ICU, Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology procedural experience – required
• Pediatric experience – strongly preferred
• ACLS, BCLS and PALS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association – required
• CRN or CCRN Certificate – preferred  
• Strong IV Skills – strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
