Director - Delivery

JOB SUMMARY

The Delivery Director at Argano will be responsible for the successful project delivery management, consulting delivery and on-going support of all projects and services to Argano’s customers. This role requires our best practice implementation methodologies and frameworks are followed and you will contribute to maintaining the quality and capability of our services to the global business. Your technical and consulting expertise will keep you close to the solutions being delivered and your leadership capability will ensure your team are continually learning from your expertise and experience. You will develop deep and meaningful relationships with our customers to ensure we are supporting the achievement of their long-term goals. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Practice - Project Leadership
  • Manage, be responsible and accountable for the delivery of our solutions and services to our customers, working closely with executives, sales, pre-sales, PMO, delivery teams, and project delivery teams across practice leaders to ensure successful project initiation, management, and delivery. 
  • Represent Argano through proactively engaging both net-new and expanding opportunities with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Through seasoned experience, drive industry best practices within the implementation cycle to align with Microsoft strategic roadmap
  • Engage and maintain positive, productive relationships with customers CxO’s, board members, committees, community and business leaders, stakeholders, and staff
  • In depth solution knowledge with historical and current system capabilities, with continuous learning to stay up to date with Microsoft offerings and leverage the software to drive the best overall solutions for the clients
  • Work with project teams and clients to define the critical business objectives, critical success factors and obtained business value
  • Able to build long term trusted customer relationships.
  • Results oriented – ensuring team actions are aligned with the need to deliver required delivery targets and can quickly identify where they need to spend time to achieve required outcomes.
• Delivery Leadership
  • Assist in Building and Leading a team of Delivery team members globally
  • Provide direction and support to the Solution Delivery Managers to ensure company and practice goals are achieved
  • Provide leadership and management to the Dynamics 365 F&SCM Consulting team
  • Manage resource planning and utilization of functional staff for projects and opportunities
  • Develop training plans, ensure team performance appraisals completion
  • Collaborate with Project Management and Solution Architect teams on the ongoing development and improvement of the Argano Implementation Methodology
  • Ensure that all engagements adhere to the Argano Implementation Methodology
  • Collaborate with Delivery Leadership within the Argano D365CE and DEA (BI/Analytics) teams to work towards alignment of approach and standardization of delivery across the organization
  • Enhance key metrics to effectively manage the business
  • Prepare appropriate performance reports for Argano executive leadership
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities, achieve them through focus and collaboration with colleagues and staff
  • Provide team support to Client Success team for installed base work when required
• Sales Support
  • Assist with the development and approval of services estimates and implementation plans
  • Review and approve Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Resource Management
  • Collaborate and prepare resource plans for pipeline opportunities
  • Provide resource management recommendations regarding hiring and headcount increases
  • Achieve utilization targets for overall team, and individual groups
• Project Sponsorship
  • Provide guidance and help with issues resolution on various D365 projects, acting in the role of Project Sponsor
  • Resolve conflicts of budget, schedule, delivery, deliverables, quality, personnel, and any other relevant items as required

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

EDUCATION: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
• MBA, relevant master's degree, or PhD expected. 

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven ability to oversee multiple concurrent consulting engagements, providing guidance and input as required to ensure progress and ultimately achieve the project objectives
