Warehouse Worker - Trailer Clean Out - 1st Shift

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of our Trailer Clean Out (TCO) team! 

As a TCO associate,  you will play a crucial role in unloading inbound trailers returning from various store locations, ensuring the trailers are thoroughly cleaned. You will also be preparing outbound trailers to be loaded. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.

This position is eligible for a $1500 retention bonus and $125 Boot allowance after 90-days of employment!

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment to transport items throughout warehouse 
• Unload inbound trailers and load outbound trailers using center rider and stand-up counterbalance 
• Sort items such returned products, plastic bags, wood pallets, empty totes, and bales of plastic/cardboard; stage items for loading 
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs 
• Sweep trailers to ensure they are free of dust and debris
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; ensure quality control 
• Communicate with associates from other shifts
• Safely and accurately follow all loading and unloading procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing dock doors; operating the baler 
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred. 
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
