$37.00 - $40.70The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:
The Level 1 Registered Nurse is a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Level I Registered Nurse continues to build competency in the provision of direct patient care. The Level 1 Registered Nurse contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. The Level I Registered Nurse supports peers in the delivery of patient care services.Schedule FT 8/10/12 hour shifts, D/E/N position, Holidays and On Call per unit needs, Flexible Self Scheduling Responsibilities The Pacu is a fast-paced unit that is responsible for the care of the post operative surgical/procedural patient who undergoes general anesthesia. New graduate RN┐s are welcome to become a part of our perioperative collaborative onboarding program. The onboarding program consists of didactic sessions related to clinical practice as well as immersive clinical experiences. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patient, families and the multidisciplinary health care team. Qualifications Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing.
