Forming part of the MillerKnoll Global Retail Operations Team this role is responsible for the strategy and execution of inventory planning and allocation to achieve or exceed sales goals for our four outlet stores. The Senior Planner ensures the proper flow of inventory to support business objectives, managing capacity, transportation optimization and ensuring return stock and overstock is optimized to deliver maximum profit.

This role is based in Batavia, Ohio, working collaboratively with our WCDC Return Processing Center Team, Planning, Transportation, Inventory Control and Outlet leaders. Supported by our ERP (NET Suite) system and WMS (Scale) to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and accountable for, at the highest level.

Responsibilities include:

• Inventory Optimization – Complete ownership of sales planning and inventory forecasting supporting Outlet sales and margin goals. Identifying category needs and trends, responsible for making complete items out of return components, maximizing impact of return stock available, supplementing with overstock/discontinued first quality stock. Will oversee outlet inventory capacity and category balancing based on business trends and needs.
• Allocation – Responsible for executing the allocation and managing the inventory transfers to ensure timely and accurate inventory in compliance with our SOPs.

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years’ experience in Inventory Planning, Allocation or Supply Chain
• Warehouse Management Software experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced levels of Excel, Word & PowerPoint – with good attention to detail
• Bias for action – complete finisher.
• Excellent communicator and negotiator.
• Multi-tasker, who works well under pressure.
• Collaborator, who values teamwork and accountability.
• Based in Batavia, Ohio
