The Four Seasons Resort Nevis is looking for suitable qualified applicants to fill the position of Resort Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will report to the Front Office Manager.
Here’s the gig:
The Resort Assistant Manager oversees the day to day operation of the Reception of the Resort. They manage a team of reception staff to provide a seamless registration and cashiering service for our guests. As the first and last impression of the Resort, this high profile department carries a special responsibility. The Resort Assistant Manager ensures that staff are highly trained, motivated and supervised. They ensure accurate communication between the managers on duty, following up on guest requests and problems. They control room rate availability on full-house nights to maximize occupancy and revenue and protect guaranteed reservations.
Here's what you should posses:
We are seeking someone preferably with a college degree in Hospitality Management, and have a minimum of five years hotel Rooms Division experience, including at least three years in an Assistant Department Head position. You will have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, good problem solving ability and be proficient in Hotel property management systems, in particular Opera. You will be fluent in reading, writing and spoken English language skills. Strong supervisory and managerial skills are essential, with outstanding demonstrated coaching and development skills.
