Electrical Engineering Tech Manager (SIC Experience)

Job Summary: 
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Tech Manager with extensive expertise in SiC-based power electronic converters. The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of engineers in the design, development, and optimization of SiC power converters, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and efficiency standards. This role requires a deep understanding of SiC technology, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful project management. This position has potential to be 1-2 days remote per week after 90 days.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the electrical engineering team in designing and developing SiC-based power electronic converters, including DC-DC converters, AC-DC converters, and inverters.
• Oversee detailed analysis and simulation of power electronic systems to optimize performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Develop and implement control algorithms for SiC power electronic converters.
• Ensure thorough testing and validation of SiC power electronic components and systems to meet design specifications and performance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SiC power electronic systems into larger projects and applications.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the engineering team.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in SiC technology and power electronics.
• Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards and best practices.
• Lead design reviews, project planning, and risk assessments.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support.
