Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.
Unit Position Summary
The lab technician will be responsible for assisting in generating stream fish population models and data management for a project studying resiliency of cold-water streams in Michigan. They should additionally be comfortable working in teams and independently.
This is a remote position!
Desired Qualifications
- Completed a BS degree in Natural Resources Management or a related degree
- Comfortable working remotely
- Attention to detail in file and data management
- Experience with data entry and QA/QC
- Experience mapping predictive data in GIS
- Experience engaging with stakeholders
