- Shift: 11:00 pm-8:00 am (training may vary to teach you the most about our facility and the machines you'll be maintaining)

- Job Type: Full-time, 90-day probationary period
- Union: Teamsters Local 600; Must join the union after 30 days
Qualifications/Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, pull products weighing up to fifty pounds out of confined spaces and occasionally having to lift product overhead.
- Ability to stand, kneel climb ladders, and other physical requirements as needed.
- Must be able to pass a post-offer drug test, alcohol screening, and physical exam.
- 1 Year Maintenance Mechanic experience minimum
- Electrical Experience
- Troubleshooting machinery issues
- Pneumatics & Program Logic Controllers Experience
Duties:
- Good interpersonal skills are a must.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair/owner manuals, engineering specifications, and parts catalogs as necessary.
- Maintenance on processing equipment, pipe fitting, welding, fabrication, carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installation of equipment.
- Adjust and repair packaging equipment as needed.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all equipment.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Interface with Operations to minimize downtime and maximize plant reliability.
- Work with both Outside Contractors and Plant Operations to ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
- Other responsibilities as requested.
Education Experience:
- Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety purposes.
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Trade school completion for Electrical is a plus
