JOB SUMMARY: This is an Information Security Analyst II position on the DOR Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Team, located in the Information Systems Program in Tallahassee. Cybersecurity is one of the fastest growing fields with endless opportunities for monitoring and mitigation of security threats. Customer service, time management, and effective communication are extremely important for this role. The incumbent serves as a point of contact regarding the overall audit process and assists the GRC Team in reviewing and responding to audit findings, recommendations, and reports. This position should expect to have continuous communications and/or regularly scheduled meetings with internal process managers, internal team leads, internal auditors, and external auditors and other key stakeholders regarding audit findings and recommendations. This position is crucial to the Department’s success in complying with necessary Information Technology requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Two years of cyber-related audit liaison work to include conducting research, gathering, and monitoring various types of audit data, report/document writing.
  • Two years’ experience in cybersecurity rules/standards, including F.A.C. 60GG-2, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or IRS Pub 1075.
  • Experience collaborating with various stakeholders, teams, or executive management.
  • Experience planning, organizing, and coordinating efforts across an organization.

PREFERENCES:

  • A four-year degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer security, computer science, or closely related focus.
  • Experience with cybersecurity rules, including IRS Pub 1075.
  • Ability to analyze complex data
  • Experience utilizing SharePoint.
  • Experience with ISO/IEC 20000.
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office Suite experience.
  • Experience using project management, IT task management, Change Management, or audit-related software.

  • Position located in Tallahassee, Florida and may be eligible for part time telework.
