Regional Practice Leader, Security

The Regional Practice Leader (RPL) is the subject matter expert on Infrastructure Security, Crime Prevention through Environmental Control (CPTED), Chemical Facilities Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS), Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA), Rail Transportation Security Role (RTSR) Threat Assessments and Impact Analysis, Workplace Violence and Threat Management, Information Security and Cyber Strategies, Laws/Authorities Compliance, and Strategies, Policies, Practices, and procedures related to global Critical Operating Tasks. As a Regional Practice Leader (RPL) you will be a key member of Telgian Engineering and Consulting (TEC), working to develop a security team as we continue to grow!
Your Opportunity
The RPL provides leadership, business development, and security consultation services that support highly variable and diverse project scopes for Telgian clients as part of a multi-discipline team. More specifically, you will:
- Drive business development activities and preparation of proposal technical content
- Establish and maintain a market presence in the geographic area by attending events, writing SME articles, and presenting at industry events
- Skilled in system design, scope of work, theory of operation and solution integration and provide professional consultations on security subject matter and/or knowledgeable in security operations and capable of developing security plans
- Collaborate with product and manufacturing representatives and conduct research and investigations, as needed
- Perform design analysis and calculations
- Manages and develops loss control programs and administers risk management programs related to operating risk, insurance, and any class of financial risk
- Prepare written reports, plans and specs, and presentations on cost effective plans to minimize loss
- Supervise Construction Project Managers to ensure all tasks are being completed as required on the job sites
- Expert in cultivating both new customer opportunities and strengthening existing customer partnerships within commercial accounts
- Responsible for achieving all budgeted commercial monthly sales production targets
- Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies in loss control
- Other Duties as Assigned

Your Qualifications
10+ years of working experience in physical security, threat and vulnerability assessments required;
High school or GED required;
2 years college or specialized training required;
4 year college degree preferred;
5+ years of senior security executive experience preferred;<
