Job Title: Senior Biometrics Specialist- 4766 

Location: Strasbourg, FRANCE (Hybrid)

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Senior Biometrics Specialist- 4766  to join our team in Strasbourg, France. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide subject matter expertise on biometric matching operations, workflows and staffing issues for a proposed program in support of international
  security;
• Collaborate on project development as a biometric/technical AFIS operations subject matter expert. Evaluation and reporting of biometric workflows,
  efficiencies, and quality control issues, enabling the documentation of improved workflows and methodologies;
• Participate in the development of written technical proposals and supporting documents;
• Support the definition of biometric performance requirements for the individual business domains; analyse the result of the accuracy measurement
  activities and prepare corrective recommendations if necessary;
• Analyse operational logs and prepare reports with recommendations;
• Follow-up on technical innovations of relevant biometric solutions (algorithms, standards, systems, issues) at academy and industry levels;
• Provide technical contribution to the biometric working group meetings with external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant education (master or equivalent) after the secondary school.
• 9 years of professional experience in IT, including 5 years using 3M-Cogent, Morpho/IDEMIA or equivalent Automated Fingerprint Identification
  System (AFIS) technology (for large-scale IT systems);
• 3 or more of the above years' experience in biometric workflow and/or technical operations with AFIS/biometric systems supporting border control.
• Knowledge of international biometric data standards;
• Experience in fingerprint, palm-print and facial image processing solutions, concepts, data quality and accuracy principles, data protection
  constraints

SECRET EU/EU SECRET: The profile owner shall possess a Personnel Security Clearance for accessing EU Classified Information, at least for level
EU SECRET. In case the person does not possess such clearance, then a fresh criminal record certificate (not older than 30 days from the signature
of the Specific Contract) of the chosen candidate should be provided, together with the written proof that this security clearance process was initiated (up to level EU SECRET), and a copy of their national ID document / Passport, prior starting the work.
Declaration of confidentiality and protection of the information system and of non-conflict of interest document will be signed by the selected person at
latest at the starting date (preferably to be submitted together with the criminal record and the copy of national ID document).
