We are on a mission to harness the power of cloud technologies to drive innovation and deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions. We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Senior Cloud Architect with experience in Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) to join our team.

Position Description

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will take a leadership role in designing, architecting, and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure solutions on GDC. You will mentor junior and mid-level architects/engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our cloud environments are efficient, secure, scalable and cost-efficient. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience with GDC and a cloud expert who enjoys solving complex problems, driving best practices, and influencing cloud strategy across the organization.

How a Senior Cloud Architect Will Make an Impact

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, cost efficient, and aligned with business objectives. Architect solutions using Google Distributed Cloud services.
• Drive automation through Infrascture-as-Code frameworks and optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership to junior and mid-level architects and engineers. Promote best practices, cloud security standards, and operational excellence within the cloud architect/engineering team.
• Lead efforts to monitor cloud infrastructure using GDC and other tools.
• Work with DevOps engineers and software developers to integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and application deployments
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with cloud infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recover from incidents

•Must be able to support data collection from a large, complex server and network infrastructure and user base

Experience with the following:

•Experience with private clouds such as VMWare, OpenStack

•Experience as a system architect/administrator/operator in a production environment

•Knowledge of IAAS, PAAS and/or SAAS cloud technologies.

•Knowledge of network technologies (MPLS, routing protocols, forwarding), common infrastructure components (IPAM, DNS, DHCP), load balancers, firewalls, virtual and physical infrastructure design

•Apply Configuration Management disciplines to maintain hardware/software revisions, security patches, hardening, and documentation

•Develop and direct the development of content for a complex and growing infrastructure. This includes use cases for Dashboards, Active Channels, Reports, Rules, Filters, Trends, and Active Lists

•Provide guidance to security analyst and network engineering
