Customer Service Specialist (Swing Shift)

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide provider of commercial service and new construction, specializing in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and maintenance solutions. We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing responsive support, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commercial construction terminology. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

Key Responsibilities

•  Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries via phone, email or external client portals 
• Provide accurate information about products, work orders, and policies
• Resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and empathy
• Document customer interactions and update account information as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Identify opportunities to improve service processes and customer experience

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service or a related role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
• Proficiency in using customer service software and MS Office Suite
• Type accurately and consistently at 40 words per minute (WPM)
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus

Salary Description $24 to $28 per hour
