Work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm.

 

Under general supervision, the candidate will assist and support safety professionals by being involved in the interaction and learning about various techniques and processes related to environmental health and safety.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Assist with managing, monitoring and auditing environmental health and safety programs
  • Develop JSAs for plant processes
  • Review and update lock out tag out procedures
  • Conduct Risk Assessments and Ergonomic Reviews
  • Help develop site emergency response procedures
  • Other duties and activities as assigned by the plant Safety Manager

 

Qualifications

 

  • Currently attending college with plans to return in fall 2025, or currently a high school senior with plans to attend college in fall 2025.
  • Good analytical and communication skills required.
