As a Residential Team Lead, you won't just be supervising; you'll be a pivotal part of creating a nurturing and empowering home environment. You'll lead by example, ensuring that the individuals we serve receive the highest quality of care and support to live fulfilling lives.
What You'll Do:

Lead and Mentor: Guide, train, and support a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in providing person-centered care.
Program Oversight: Ensure the smooth daily operation of the residential home and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment.
Individual Support: Provide direct support to residents, including assistance with daily living skills, medication administration, community outings, and personal goal achievement.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, develop individual plans, and ensure adherence to all regulations and standards.
Problem-Solve: Address challenges and provide practical solutions calmly and professionally.
Advocate: Champion the rights and needs of the individuals we support.
QualificationsWhat You'll Bring:

Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a big plus!
Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required. An associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services) is preferred.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate, organize, and inspire a team.
Compassion & Empathy: A genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Reliability: A strong work ethic and consistent attendance.
Logistics: Valid Ohio Driver's License, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.
Flexibility: Willingness to work a varied schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the residents and team.
