QC Conveyors is searching for an Applications Engineer, responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customized technical solutions that meet specific customer requirements. This role is instrumental in developing and executing custom projects, ensuring alignment between customer needs and QC’s product capabilities. The engineer will support the design, implementation, and refinement of custom applications, contributing to QC’s innovation and adaptability.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties as assigned.

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Engineering, and other departments to develop concepts and pricing for detailed application systems.
• Prepare technical quotes based on customer specifications and recommend optimal alternatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assembly practices relevant to QC’s product lines.
• Design, prototype, and validate custom application solutions using QC’s product portfolio.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user guides for custom implementations.
• Support the product development lifecycle by providing feedback from custom projects to inform future product enhancements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed customizations.
• Monitor industry trends and technologies to develop and drive innovation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• 3-7 Years in the engineering industry, with experience in applications.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
• Understanding of product lifecycle management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
