Operations Director/Operations Senior Director - Implement | Hybrid

You will provide direction and oversight of assigned department within Enterprise Operations business unit. You will guide important practices, processes and methodologies to implement change within the Operations division. You will report to the Vice President Annuity Operations.

 

What you do:

• Prioritize, execute, and drive programs and projects to implement division priorities and key initiatives. Coordinate and align resources across the division to support the project agenda. Achieve project performance targets (time, quality, budget) while monitoring controls and mitigating risk.
• Establish a customer-centric environment and build successful relationships with internal customers. Demonstrate responsiveness by proactively gathering input and feedback from internal customers. Drive continuous process improvements to deliver and maintain a high-quality end-to-end change implementation experience and improve quality of project results.
• Establish and maintain a solid controls framework through oversight, system and capability management, monitoring of system performance, and financial controls. Identify, report, and escalate risks and implement mitigation strategies. Assist with defining innovative strategies and initiatives to enhance controls framework within own domain.
• Lead the division through large scale change initiatives to support the evolving service strategy. Assess impact and readiness across departments and partners with capability owners and business leaders to influence change within functional departments.
• Build the skills and develop the people needed to support the change implementation strategy at all levels of the organization. This includes a holistic people and employee engagement strategy to attract and retain talent, and leverage of a comprehensive project resource planning model to deliver results and efficiencies.
• Establish strong and successful working relationship with peers, senior Operations leaders, key business partners, and vendors to deliver high-quality end-to-end project and change implementation.

 

What you bring:

• 6 or more years' experience required: Financial, insurance or operations; successful strategic leadership, business acumen, relationship and customer service skills
• Four-year degree required or equivalent work experience
