Overview

Job Summary

 

Responsible for proactively identifying training needs, presenting recommendations and developing learning solutions to address performance gaps. Utilize instructional design processes to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate instructional materials according to Werfen and Quality/Regulatory guidelines. Develop training to be engaging, compliant, and effective learning programs.

 

Work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to design and develop innovative training solutions to effectively address business and performance issues.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Apply instructional design methods and adult learning principles to ensure course design and content meet learning goals.
  • Create learning objectives, design documents, storyboards, and other learning design deliverables utilizing instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)
  • Develop learning solutions using project-based templates. Test and debug deliverables for quality assurance. Ensure leaning solutions align with desired outcomes.
  • Apply project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to support projects from initiation to project delivery.
  • Coordinate resources and personnel needed to ensure all assigned projects are delivered effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Create training materials in all delivery formats (webinars, workshops, presentations,eLearning etc.) utilizing new and innovative delivery methods.
  • Conduct needs assessment and performance analysis to determine training needs.
  • Evaluate training courses bi-annually to measure program and course effectiveness. Develop and report training metrics as requested.
  • Maintain training course files and documents within regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  • Performs basic L&D Administrative tasks such as maintenance of source files, audit of source files, helpdesk tickets, LMS training assignments and LMS reporting.
  • Ensure all course materials comply with Werfen style guidelines and QARA standards per the Werfen QMS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct training program reviews and updates to maintain accuracy with regulatory and company guidelines based on input from the training team and business stakeholders.

Networking/Key relationships

  • Lead needs assessments and gap analysis with key stakeholders from all areas of the business to understand needs and skill gaps of the organization.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, compliance teams, and leadership to ensure accuracy and relevance of content
  • Partner with our L&D team and business stakeholders to architect the most effective learning solutions. Utlize innovative training solutions to effectively address business and performance issues.
  • Proactively communicate task and project status to client group and management.
  • Participate in meetings and training courses to obtain new training development and delivery information to be integrated into training materials.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combina-tion of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of previous instructional design experience required, preferably in regu-lated industries
  • Diagnostic or Medical industry experience preferred
  • Master’s degree in instructional design or education related field preferred
  • Experience working in a regulatory environment, preferably ISO/FDA.
