About this role
We are seeking a People Operations & Benefits Lead to join our growing People Team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing benefits programming, operational efficiency, and overall employee experience at Faire.
What you’ll do
Benefits Operations (70%):
- Provide expert guidance to employees on benefits eligibility, enrollment, claims processing, and general benefits inquiries
- Manage escalations with benefit carriers to ensure quick resolutions for employees
- Lead open enrollment processes globally, coordinating meetings and communicating deadlines
- Administer annual benefits renewal, plan changes, and compliance reporting
- Manage relationships with benefit providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure high-quality service
- Oversee benefits compliance administration, including HSCO reporting, non-discrimination testing, and 401k audits
- Partner with leave provider to administer all leaves of absence programs
- Partner with Payroll and Accounting teams to reconcile benefit payments and invoices
People Operations (30%):
- Support core People processes, including onboarding, offboarding, immigration and relocation support, and cyclical People programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records for reporting purposes
- Process employee changes in the HRIS, including hiring, termination, promotions, and data changes
- Collaborate with Talent, Payroll, IT, and Facilities to ensure a cohesive employee experience
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in building and managing benefits programs in the US, Canada, and Europe
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with employees and executives
- Proven analytical skills, distilling complex information into clear recommendations
- Cross-functional collaboration capabilities and strong project management skills
- BA/BS degree with 6 months to 1 year of HR-related work experience in a high-growth organization.
Salary Range
California / New York: the pay range for this role is $124,000 - $170,500 per year.
Colorado / Washington / New Jersey: the pay range for this role is $111,500 - $153,500 per year.
This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
