Responsibilities
We are hiring Hardware Configuration Management personnel to support the Aircraft Survivability Equipment(ASE) program in Huntsville, AL. This role has the ability to work both on/offsite(hybrid).
What you'll do:
- Analyzes changes of product design to determine the effect on the product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change.
- Designs and establishes management documentation. Authorizes the release of drawings, and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups.
- Develops and maintains software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products.
- Performs configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable.
- Designs, develops, automates, and maintains productivity tools using programming, database, or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development. Designs and implements build procedures that are used to support software product development and use.
- May develop software configuration standards for PMO-wide use. May train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards.
Qualifications
What you'll need:
- Education: BS/BA with 12 years of experience, 10 years with a MS/MA or 7 years with a PhD or 16 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset
- Clearance: Active Secret required
- Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above
Other Qualifications:
Have experience working in a DoD acquisition project management office is a plus.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
