You will work with internal teams to understand industry challenges and opportunities; help collect necessary requirements and assist in creating standards-based solutions. We are currently recruiting for this position, which offers a salary range of $60,000 to $76,000.

Who you are  

You are familiar with the food and supply chain industries served by GS1 and understand their unique needs and challenges. You possess a desire to learn and find answers, with the ability to work in unclear or complex situations. In addition, you can analyze problems and help develop effective solutions analytical thinking and creativity.

Your background includes experience facilitating collaboration among various stakeholder types to define solutions to shared challenges and opportunities. You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail grocery and/or food service supply chain. 

What you will do  

The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of customer needs, provide basic technical expertise, and ensure that the solutions offered meet customer requirements. By combining knowledge of the GS1 system of standards and customer service, they contribute to the adoption and use of standards.  

Here are a few more details about the role (other duties may be assigned): 

• Technical Consultation: Provide basic consultation to internal and external stakeholders regarding the application and use of GS1 Standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders, members, and partners to understand their needs and gather feedback.
• Solution Development: Assist in developing solutions that address the needs of industry sectors using GS1 Standards. This includes supporting the creation of workflows, processes, and systems that leverage GS1 Standards to improve efficiency.
• Industry Collaboration: Support industry collaboration efforts to promote the adoption and use of GS1 Standards with industry partners.
