We are an established yet innovative and growing company providing support to over 80 dental and orthodontic practices. As a Collection Specialist for our Revenue Cycle department, you will be responsible for resolving overdue bills and collecting payments on overdue accounts, specific tasks to assist in the process of identifying, collecting, and managing revenue from payers based on the services provided. You will play a valuable role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely processes in the revenue cycle management are adhered to. Responsibilities:

Review account data for accuracy
Identify & resolve outstanding billing issues
Investigate historical data for debts and invoicing
Process payments and refunds
Contacts clients for overdue billing matters via phone, email, text, voicemail and mail
Negotiates & establish partial payments and payment plans when possible
Update accounts based on their status
Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress

Requirements

Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role
Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.
Knowledge of billing procedures, collection laws and regulations
Some experience using various collection techniques
Comfortable working with targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
High school diploma or GED
