Recruiting Coordinator - Contract

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to join our HR team. As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the recruitment and onboarding process of new employees. Your primary responsibilities will include scheduling candidate interviews, posting job requisitions, creating and processing new requisition forms, conducting background checks, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, be adept at multitasking, and have a strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Please note this is a Hybrid position with a 2-3 day/week in-office requirement.
Duties:
Scheduling:
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
- Manage interview calendars and communicate interview details to all parties involved.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for out-of-town candidates, as needed.
Job Requisition Management:
- Post new job requisitions to the company's careers site and external job boards.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of job descriptions and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to determine the appropriate channels and platforms for job postings.
- Monitor job posting performance and make recommendations for optimization.
Requisition Form Creation and Processing:
- Create requisition forms and obtain necessary approvals from stakeholders.
- Ensure timely processing and accurate completion of requisition forms.
- Track the status of requisitions, follow up on outstanding approvals, and provide updates to relevant parties.
Onboarding and Background Checks:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including coordinating orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and the provision of necessary equipment and resources.
- Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and Facilities teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate and employee information in the applicant tracking system.
- Generate reports on recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to the HR team and hiring managers.
- Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other HR software.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations regarding hiring and onboarding processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
