Commercial Operations Coordinator, Non-Bulk

 

to join our renewable feedstock supply team, becoming part of our growing, dynamic business. This exciting opportunity places you within an international team based in Houston, Texas.

You will work closely with external and internal counterparties globally. Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew.

In our team, you will coordinate operations and logistics matters in renewable and petroleum product shipments, as well as take care of customer service functions and terminal operations. This position reports to the Operations Manager and is a team member involved in the day to day execution of supply, sales and trading operations associated with deliveries by marine and land.

Your role in our team

 

• Oversee daily operations of supply and sales cargo movements for both term and spot contracts, with the primary goal of independently coordinating cargo movements related to physical oil contracts—from delivery planning to invoicing.
• Coordinate terminal operations and manage inventory.
• Collaborate daily with suppliers and vendors on commercial operations, delivery planning and scheduling, invoicing, payments, quality monitoring, sustainability documentation, and other operational matters.
• Coordinate commercial matters with internal stakeholders, including sales, legal, logistics, technical support, finance, and risk management.

Keys to success in this role

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is
 

• Degree in business or a related field, and/or several years of experience in a comparable position within the petroleum industry.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of the petroleum industry as a whole.
• Experience in commercial cargo operations and various modes of transportation in international oil trade is advantageous.
• Knowledge of renewable fuels and raw material supply is a plus.
• Proficiency with IT systems, including ERP systems (especially SAP and terminal systems like TABS), Google Workspace, and Salesforce is a plus.
