Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Team in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assisting with access control. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing top-tier customer service and clear communication at all times. By monitoring for unusual activity and responding promptly to situations, you will contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations according to company and location requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related matters and support the overall operation of the location.
• Follow all food and beverage industry protocols and site-specific guidelines while performing duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
