Manager Regional Security
Security Market Manager oversees all aspects of protective life, safety, investigative operations, and technical security services across the assigned market. This role is responsible for managing the department budget, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, and delivering consistent, high-quality security services. The Security Market Manager leads a local team of security managers and reports to the designated National Lead. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, support emergency response efforts, and cultivate partnerships with internal business units and external agencies. Strong leadership, communication, and operational planning skills are essential to ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and facilities across the region.
Position Responsibilities:
Incident and Investigation Management
- Respond and supervise investigations into bank robberies, burglaries, thefts, workplace violence, harassment, information loss, etc.
- Coordinate response efforts with Retail, Risk, Legal, HR, and external agencies including local, state, and federal law enforcement.
- Provide recommendations to senior management that may include corrective action, policy changes, and law enforcement action.
- On call and available to respond 24/7 within large geographical market.
Employee Security Training and Education
- Facilitate and oversee employee training programs to include workshops, exercises, and role-playing.
- Evaluate effectiveness and consult with HR and business unit leaders Security Projects, Technical Systems, and Initiatives.
- Assist and support design, installation, and maintenance of various access control, burglar alarms, cash recovery, and surveillance systems at banking centers and leased or owned facilities.
- Evaluate physical security and risk; provide recommendations that mitigate risk and improve employee and customer safety.
- Reconcile and approve invoices from security related vendors.
Emergency Management and Guard Services
- Manage, coordinate, and develop building emergency plans, evacuations, emergency plans, AED program, and related policies procedures and training.
- Oversee and manage regional contract guard services and special requests.
Talent Management
- Manage security managers/workload/development.
- Manage local department budget.
Executive Protection
- Manage regional executive protection program and support executive plan recovery efforts.
