Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate, culturally appropriate onsite interpretation between English and your target language.
• Maintain professionalism, neutrality, and confidentiality at all times.
• Adhere to established interpretation protocols to ensure accuracy and completeness, avoiding omissions or additions.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and customer service skills while assisting clients in sensitive situations.
• Manage assignments with punctuality, preparedness, and professionalism.
• Maintain an appropriate tone of voice while observing cultural nuances.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must reside in Massachusetts and be willing to travel within a 30-mile radius of your home for assignments.
• Proficiency in English and at least one other language listed below.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain professional in challenging situations.
• Flexibility and reliability to accommodate per diem assignments.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure interpretation accuracy.
• Understanding of HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations.
• Completion of a 60-hour Medical Interpreter Training Course from a reputable institution is preferred but not required.
