As a Senior Technical Product Owner, you will be involved in continued development and evolution of our video player experience working directly with engineering teams and senior management.

In this varied role you will:

• Drive feature definition and development in cross-functional and globally distributed setup working directly with various stakeholders and engineering teams,
• Own feature roadmap and use your expertise to define short- and long-term priorities in accordance with business needs while considering engineering teams backlog and tech debt,
• Monitor KPIs and analyze product performance to prioritize bug fixes or areas of innovation as and when needed to deliver the best streaming experience to Peacock customers,
• Represent Peacock customers to engineering teams to bring the focus and clarity on the best customer experience and product reliability,
• Use data driven approach to balance priorities against capacity, to define product vision and to liaise with peers and senior management on releases and priorities,
• Manage the team of Technical Product Owners embedded  into engineering teams
• Work closely with delivery teams on development, release and monitoring of feature launches,
• Work closely with wider product organization on the future vision of Peacock.
   

Qualifications

• 3+ years of OTT video streaming industry experience combined with in-depth knowledge of video players, video playback, video streaming technologies, standards, and video streaming performance monitoring tools, 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical product management domain within OTT industry in an engineering first, Agile/SCRUM environment with globally distributed teams,
• Data driven mindset with passion for technology,
• Experience in management and delivery of large scale, complex products in fast paced environment in cross functional, matrix organization,
• Excellent organizational skills
•  “Can do”, creative and open-minded attitude to solving complex technical problems through iterations and innovation in fast paced environment, 
• Self-starter able to motivate teams and to create the vision for the product,
• Effective communication, presentation, and documentation skills, able to persuade, simplify and synthetize complex ideas into logical and structural product development framework,
• Strong people management skills – a great manager, able to empower and grow team members.
