The Opportunity

The Talent Management Consultant will act as a thought partner and subject matter expert in the consultation and activation of talent practices. This role involves partnering with senior HRBPs and leaders to align talent strategy, decisions and actions to business needs driving measurable outcomes in the areas of succession planning, coaching and career engagement, talent reviews and performance management practices. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to activating BVs talent strategy, philosophy and behaviors.  
  • Collaborate with HR partners and leaders throughout the company to design and execute complex, high-priority strategic talent initiatives. 
  • Implementation and ongoing oversight of talent programs and initiatives.  
  • Convert talent strategy into roadmaps, business cases and projects while prioritizing timelines and ensuring alignment and execution. 
  • Identify the short & long-term impacts of key talent strategies by identifying metrics, assessing qualitative and quantitative data and developing insights to equip senior leaders with the right data to make informed decisions on talent. 
  • Advise on best practices, marketplace trends and innovations that align with BV’s talent strategy.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across the organization. 
  • Deep knowledge of how people learn and change behaviors, and how to deliver large-scale programs and interventions. 
  • Project management experience  
  • Strong organizational and communication skills 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines 
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience using data to inform business impact and decisions on the effectiveness of talent management practices. 
  • Ability to articulate a vision, translate it into an executable strategy, and drive cross-functional teams to deliver against the plan.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 
  • 7+ years of broad HR experience in areas such as succession planning, talent strategy, leadership development, and supporting organization-wide talent management programs. 
  • 5+ years of program strategy/management experience.  
  • Experience leading large-scale initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders. 
  • Experience using large data sets to identify critical connections and make informed decisions. 
  • Master's degree in human resource development, I-O psychology, instructional design, or a related field. 
  • Experience designing and implementing talent programs and processes in a mid-sized, global organization.  
  • Performance consulting experience and capabilities. 
  • Experience in a global organization and working with senior-level executives. 
  • Advanced knowledge of employee development lifecycle and HR processes. 
  • Experience implementing talent programs that are technology enabled.  

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8+
