The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana is a growing educational institution seeking dynamic, engaging individuals for full-time instructor positions. Faculty shall be responsible to the Funeral Service Program Director, Health Professions Dean, and the Vice Chancellor for Academics and have the following duties:
· Be concerned with all things involving teaching and student learning and to provide instruction in accordance with the stated philosophy and objectives of the College and in accordance with the established and approved syllabus and student learning outcomes for each course taught.
· Provide assessment of student learning in his/her classes and to use this assessment to improve instruction.
· Acquaint all students with course requirements, including how to login to Blackboard and locate grades during the first week of class and provide students with periodic evaluations of his/her progress.
· Ensure online course set-up prior to the deadline and according to guidelines.
