Senior IT Data Engineer

Overview

Edgewater Federal Solutions seeks an experienced Senior IT Data Engineer.    

 

This work will be conducted onsite in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Ability to implement and manage cloud-based data and big data systems including: Amazon Aurora, Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift.
• Ability to use infrastructure as code (IaC) such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation to build and configure data systems as part of a DevOps program.
• Ability to implement and manage hybrid data systems including a mixture of cloud and onpremises data systems such as MS SQL Server

Qualifications

• At least seven years of experience evaluating, working in production environments with cloud data systems, including RDBMs, data warehouses, data lakes, data pipelines
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• Experience with RDBMs, NoSQL databases

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional
• AWS Data Engineer - Associate
• AWS Developer - Associate
