Project Analyst

Melbourne, FL (Onsite)

Position Summary

Thales is looking for a Project Analyst whose focus is to support the US Surface Radar domain Project Management Office implementation of radar programs.

In this position, the Project Analyst is responsible for assisting the project team in the execution of project related activities, including financial tasks and tracking deliverables. 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Maintain relationships with internal departments as they relate to US Surface Radar domain projects and back office processes.
  • Support Work Package Managers and Project Managers in maintaining an exceptionally strong Customer focus and delivering the right items/outcomes, on time, and on budget, to tight project schedules when required.
  • Help ensure effective tools and processes are in place to ensure proper data management is in place as per Thales processes and standards. Assist with preparation of bids and in the production of regular Dashboards, Metrics and Project Status Reports.
  • Coordinate onsite activities/meetings. Issue purchase requisitions and track the progress and status of both purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Contribute to the collaboration and relationship maintenance with team and customer. Provide travel coordination support to the project team. Prepare monthly travel invoices. Provide general administrative support to the US Surface Radar domain.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of employees via meetings, written communications and one-on-one communication. Interact and work with management/employees to promote teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a US Person as defined in applicable law.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field with a minimum of 1-4+ years of relevant work experience or a Master’s degree in business administration or a related field with 0-2+ years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in a project support role focused on analytical reporting.
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communications skills. Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite. Sound interpersonal skills – good team player.
  • Demonstrated self-starter. Attention to detail.
