About the role

Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a MRO Repair Vendor Performance Manager (f/m) to join our Component Maintenance Repair and Overhaul based in Marignane, France.

Our main mission is to improve the customer satisfaction, to ensure fleets availability by securing repair lead time and costs with internal and external repair shops.

Our scope embeds all parts related to Helicopters: Equipment and Airframe.

This job will consist in implementing MRO strategy towards repair centers, with a worldwide vision, and in monitoring business trend and MRO performances (cost/TAT (Turn Around Time) / OTD (On Time Delivery)) with major external repair centers.

Your challenges:

You will contribute to the following main activities:

- Vendors Contract support :

  • Define priorities on Support contract negotiations to be led together with Vendor Support Management and Strategic Procurement (sourcing strategies).
  • Participate to vendor’s offers validation (Prices, TAT Turn Around Time,...)
  • Propose contractual improvements to Strategic procurement to strengthen Airbus Helicopters position on MRO flow

- MRO performance monitoring (cost and TAT/OTD) :

  • Have a good knowledge of vendor supply chain by visiting them regularly,
  • Monitor and analyze each month Key Performance Indicators,
  • Prepare and participate to periodic performance meetings with main vendors in order to bring MRO vision on vendor performances
  • Share repair forecasts with vendors,
  • Identify vendor’s weaknesses and specific "Complex" issues to be solved within the repair flow

MRO vendor performance challenge (cost and TAT/OTD) :

  • Organize and drumbeat industrial recovery plans / improvement actions with vendors to recover industrial performances,
  • Organize management meeting to escalate if commitments are not fulfilled,
  • Support MRO cost strategy by bringing ideas on potential cost savings,
  • In coordination with team technical experts, prepare technical and commercial argumentation to challenge main cost drivers items fixed price, to support Strategic Procurement negotiations
  • Ensure vendors penalties follow-up and recovery

Support to cost repair data base for Maintenance Repair Overhaul referential :

  • Challenge prices for new contracts and annual price updates
  • ¤ H160/H175: ensure contractual data availability in SAP (readiness)

Day-to-day Support :

  • Support Operational procurement upon request on day to day blocking issues with vendors.
  • Solve anomalies raised by operational team on vendors contracts / prices catalogues content vs quotations

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth

Your profile:

  • At least 3 years of overall experience in Supply Chain management,
  • Ability to synthesize and present complex topics,
  • Ability to coordinate multi-functional teams and manage priorities,
  • Experience in operational or strategic procurement would be a plus
  • Knowledge in business and finance would be a plus
  • Relational capabilities, team spirit.
